The only title I recognized was "Wicked," and I didn't realize it was now (half) a movie... I didn't see the musical, either. And I didn't recognize the names of any of the actors or actresses! I can't decide whether this is a sign of my age or the fact that I live under a proverbial rock...
Life under a rock can be nice. There’s shelter, protection, and lots of creepy crawlies to keep you company. I’d just hunker down and be happy with it.
Post-Oscars, please do six-word summaries of classic and current films. Conclave truly IS women-behind-bars but with men. (Or make it 8 words and add the hats.)
So what are you serving to friends and family watching with you?
It’s a big list! We’ll be noshing on baked Brie, fancy pizzas, pigs in blankets 😋, fruit kabobs, etc. Etc. Etc. Plus aperol spritzes. Can’t wait!
Can I come? 🥴
What time will you be arriving at the airport?
I like a drink called Stolen Fire:
1.5 oz Mezcal
.75 oz of lime juice
.5 oz of Chartreuse or Genepys
.5 oz of simple syrup
.25 oz of basil liqueur
2 droppers of hellfire bitters
OMg. I want one right now! Skol.

The worms and pill bugs are better company than the creepy crawlies above ground these days... good advice!

The work of a lifetime, but if you command it, I will do it.
Consider this an urgent request.
Ha! I’ll take that under advisement. If I win a MacArthur grant the task will soar to the top of my list.
I'll have my people look into it.
And I say, Who cares?
Well, that’s one way to save time! Watch zero movies and avoid the whole thing!
Re: The Nickel Boys, the book *is* good.
