Loadshedding? I had to look that one up. Darkness has its good points! Weird fact about South Africa: it’s tied with the US as my greatest concentration of subscribers on the Road 2 Elsewhere. Which seems kind of random, but also really fun. I’ll need to book a visit to greet my many supporters down there!

Sometime Claire and I will go to France (or Italy! or California! or some other foodie fantasia!) and cook (and eat! and drink!) for a week. I'm a big fan of Bill Buford's "Dirt" and "Heat." If it's too hot in the kitchen, count me in.
