I hopped off my bike and went straight to a bbq joint for ribs, cornbread, baked beans, and potato salad. +beer! And a chocolate cupcake for dessert because we were celebrating a friend’s birthday. Mmmmmmm. Energy stores replenished.
(1) I guess "velophilia" is better than "pedal-philia." But I guess a similar-sounding word to the latter has ruined anything "-philia" for me. Velodelphia? Or did I just say City of Brotherly Bicycles?
(2) My wife now has an e-bike. I have a 17-year-old road bike. I don't play "Clue" with her because she always wins, and until the e-bike she'd never bike with me because I'd always leave her behind when I want to get enough exercise. Now she beats me. So I need to get e-Clue . . .
Oh dear. I regret the “-philia” association. But I did look up the “Velophilia” definition before posting. It seemed benign, if unusual. My wife has been sniffing around my new bike; we may be hitting the dirt roads together sometime soon. But she’s really good at Scrabble, so maybe not that.
I suppose you can pedal it without the motor, too. I’d still need training wheels just to keep my balance!
Yes! It’s called “downhill.”
So riding a ridiculously wonderful toy makes you want to eat what when you get off? 🍽️🍽️🍽️

I was wondering how you were going to work food into this one. 😂
With Wayne around, if I don’t mention food I’ll lose a valuable subscriber and commenter.

Velophilia is real. I'm a velophile, too!
Happy riding! Liked your to-do list! JRB
In my case it’s a “probably not unless it’s super fun” list.
Yes!!! Ride to Canada! Love this - have been eying e-bikes myself… now coveting yours.
It’s called a Velotric, and it really was love at first bike. There may be better ones! But I couldn’t wait any longer..,
Love this!!!😊💜
Thanks Kathy! Maybe you should buy one. Vrooom.
