Summer has only just begun, but it feels like it’s already over

Here’s a partial list of the things I’m already regretting not doing during the summer of 2025:

That awesome outdoor concert I won’t attend.

That sunrise I won’t wake up for.

That email invite from a real-estate enabled friend that unfortunately went to spam.

That cool new drink that everybody is making (except me).

The sunlight I’m too afraid to absorb.

The fireworks finale I can’t be bothered to attend.

The hot beach-read everybody is captivated by except me.

My inability to have the last word, even in my own cartoon.

I write and illustrate here because I love to, full stop.
