Does climate change make your blood boil? Literally? Chill out with these temp-tested stratagems for our fiery state. WRITTEN & ILLUSTRATED by PETER MOORE, special to THE COLORADO SUN.
I heard wise gardener say that it's just six weeks from the first crickets to the first frost. Well guess what I heard in our yard last night! We should cool down eventually, if we're not burned down or blown away first.
Fall is my favorite too, even though the outdoor plants will be dying or going into hibernation soon and the loons and hummingbirds are getting ready to move away to their winter quarters (the loons to the eastern coast so they can swim in the open waters of the Atlantic, the hummers so they can find food to eat and stay warm). The leaves are still green, but there's a nip in the air. Fall's coming. We could do with some more rain, though... 🌧️
Haha! Rocky Mountain Hopper!!

So right about the cheese emporium, the coolest place in CO
My editor at the Colorado Sun recommended it. We have yet to go! Next hot spell, definitely.
Or you could move to the Maine Coast.
I guess I should stop bitching about it being in the 90's here...
Summer's half over and fall's coming soon! Hopefully you all get cooler temperatures then.
Thx Jeannine! It’s been cool and rainy here the last few days. I’m absorbing the autumn vibes and loving it. My fave time of the year.

We have some spare rain right now. I’ll send some your way.
Much appreciated, thank you!
