Meet my New (Carnivorous) Neighbors

This week, gray wolves were reintroduced to Colorado. I'm not sure I want to invite the newcomers over to dinner. WRITTEN and ILLUSTRATED by PETER MOORE

In 2020, Colorado voters—right, I did this—approved a measure that would reintroduce wolves to our state. It seems like a good idea in theory, right? Call of the Wild and all that? The first five of these apex predators were released yesterday, and I had nervous thoughts, which I shared with Front Range NPR. (Click to listen!) So far no wolves have shown up at my door. But I plan to cower in the basement just in case.
