Another Helping of Turkey(s)
The best things in life aren't available at a discount on Black Friday WRITTEN and ILLUSTRATED by PETER MOORE
MY FRIEND SARA and her daughters enliven every holiday season by throwing open their oven doors for Friday Pie Day—which may be my favorite holiday tradition involving a fork. Rather than participating in the Acquisition Ironman of Black Friday, we fortunate guests instead gather around Sara’s kitchen counter and scoop up wedges of a dozen different kinds of pie. On Thanksgiving the bird was stuffed. On pie day, we are stuffed with five different kinds of pecan pie (praline, chocolate, praline-chocolate, pumpkin pecan, praline-chocolate-pumpkin-pecan) and overflow with gratitude for friends who bake, and share!
For my part, I recently pulled a few morsels from the hothouse of my mind. Care for another slice of turkey?

I don’t much like turkey. Please advise....
Sad to see that even turkeys sometimes gobble up what they hear on Fox News.
